Strobilanthes anisophyllus 'Brunetthy' - Set of 2

The Strobilanthes anisophyllus 'Brunetthy' is a beautiful ornamental shrub from Asia. It is a bushy shrub with elongated, deep purple leaves. From April to June it blooms with fine, bell-shaped, lilac flowers, which form a nice contrast with the dark leaves. Strobilanthes anisophyllus 'Brunetthy' is fairly hardy and leafy, but requires a sheltered spot with as much sun as possible. Alternatively, 'Brunetthy' can be grown in pots and kept indoors over winter.

Care
The Strobilanthus does not actually need pruning. To keep the plant in shape, the long shoots can be shortened in spring and/or summer. It prefers sun/part sun. Furthermore, the plant is moderately hardy to -4°C.

Format
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
