Viburnum tinus is an evergreen shrub that is easy to grow and provides a beautiful garden all year round. It is originally from the Mediterranean region. The Viburnum tinus provides color to the garden all year round. It blooms from late winter to spring and has attractive evergreen foliage all year round. The Viburnum usually blooms with fragrant flowers from mid-winter to early spring. Due to its low maintenance, the plant grows well in most light conditions and is moderately drought tolerant. Care
Pruning is not actually necessary. The Viburnum Tinus has a compact growth habit. To keep the plant in shape, you can shorten the long shoots in spring and/or summer. Because the Viburnum is originally a Mediterranean plant, it prefers a sunnier spot. However, the Viburnum also grows when it is in the shade, but the shrub will produce fewer flowers.
